INTRODUCING JUPEB A’LEVEL PROGRAM:

The great hassle that characterized admission process in Nigeria is a result of high population increase in the number of admission seekers into higher institutions in Nigeria through JAMB UTME and Universities POST-UTME examinations. This trends of not being able to secure admission into the higher institutions here in Nigeria can be resolved today through JUPEB A’ LEVEL PROGRAMS with a curriculum that enables the students to be admitted into 200 Level without the JAMB UTME or POST-UTME.

JUPEB is an acronym for Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board, which is a National Examinations Body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. It was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium of ten (10) partnering universities led by the University of Lagos. Therefore, JUPEB is a national and international Examination body saddled with the responsibility of conducting examination for students who have undergone approved subject combination and are seeking direct entry admission into 200 Levels in Nigeria and partnering foreign institutions

The board has the responsibility of conducting common and standard examinations for the candidates, who have been exposed to a minimum of one-year approved courses in the different Universities’ Foundation and/or Diploma Programs and are seeking Direct Entry admissions into University courses at the 200 Level in Nigerian and partnering foreign universities.

So, JUPEB is a newly Approved, Proven & Certified Advanced level examination body established and coordinated by the University of Lagos. Basically, it is similar to the IJMB: Interim Joint Matriculation Board coordinated by Ahmadu Bello University.

It has coordinating body in various tertiary institutions and different affiliated study centers nationwide. The program is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for candidates who do not want to go through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, and the Post-UTME to enter into the University of their Choice to study their desired courses.

It has been proven that yearly, about 30,000 applicants put in for the program in which more than 70% successfully secure admission with it into 200 level to their preferred institution & course of study.

Furthermore, the JUPEB A’Level Program is certified by the Nigeria University Commission (NUC) and grants qualified students admission into 200 level through Direct entry in any Nigerian university.

HOW JUPEB WORKS:

Prospective JUPEB candidates are required to select any THREE (3) A/L JUPEB Subject Combination identified with their preferred course of study in the university be it Science, Arts, Social Science, or Management Course. Candidates would then be lectured for the stipulated period at their respective Study Centre and thereafter sit for the final examination. On completion of the program, successful candidates accordingly utilize their JUPEB certificate to secure admission into 200 level in any Nigeria tertiary institution via Direct Entry and some foreign universities. Admission is based strictly on merit and entry requirement is proportion to the admission quota of the University for the various Faculties.

Candidate are to note that the above listed subject combinations meet the requirements (as applicable) for admission into Degree Programs in the Arts, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Engineering, Medical and  Pure Sciences courses in all JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TICKED SUBJECTS ARE THE ONLY ONES WE RUN AT OUR CENTERS NOW: SANGO-OTA. HOWEVER, WITH THESE SUBJECT COMBINATIONS, THERE IS NO COURSE YOU CAN’T ENTER FOR IN THE UNIVERSITY OF YOUR CHOICE.

SOME COURSES & JUPEB SUBJECT COMBINATION:

1.    LAW: Government/History, Literature in English, CRS/IRS, or Economics

2. MASS COMMUNICATION: Government/History, Literature in English, CRS/IRS, or Economics.

3. MEDICINE, PHARMACY, MEDICAL LAB SCIENCE, MICROBIOLOGY, BIOCHEMISTRY, PHYSIOLOGY, PHYSIOTHERAPY, RADIOGRAPHY, RADIOLOGY, NURSING, and ALL OTHER BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE COURSES: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

4.  ALL ENGINEERING COURSES, COMPUTER SCIENCE, AND TECHNOLOGICAL COURSES: Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.

5. ALL MANAGEMENT COURSES (BANKING, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, ACCOUNTANCY, etc.): Economics, Business Studies and Accounting or Mathematics.

6.    ALL SOCIAL SCIENCE COURSES (Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, etc.): Economics, Government, and any Arts or Science Subjects.

PROGRAM DURATION:

JUPEB A’level program runs for Eight (8) Months.

HOWEVER, INTENSIVE CLASSES / LECTURES START IN OUR CENTRE, SANGO-OTA, MONDAY 6^TH JANUARY 2020; WHILE THE FINAL JUPEB EXAMINATION IS JUNE 2020. WE WILL START REGISTERING STUDENTS TO SIT FOR THE EXAMINATION THIS NOVEMBER 2019.

Students must register, and sit for the Examinations, which is taken in June of every year; and must satisfy the Board in three subjects relevant to their proposed courses in any of the universities. They will be issued certificate based on their level of performance. The result is graded with Letter Grades of

A= 5 Points,

B=4 Points,

C=3 Points,

D=2 Points,

E=1 Point, and

F=0 point in each of the three subjects.

For admission into each university, each candidate, in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB examinations for issuing the Direct Entry Certificates, must satisfy all other conditions as prescribed by his/her university of choice.

Depending on how competitive the university, students can secure direct admission to do law with 11 points and above, medicine: 13 points and above. 7 to 12 points and above can give a student admission into any science related courses. Arts and social science courses may be lower depending on the university.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY:

The program is open to all interested candidates nationwide and any course can be offered be it Science, Arts, Social Science, Management Sciences, Engineering, Medical or Pure Sciences.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Interested candidates can register with us to take the lectures and be thoroughly prepared for the examination in June 2020. To register, candidates are required to Obtain our Registration Form at our Sango-Ota Centre/Office with the sum of N8,000.00, and collect our Brochure.

The program can also be applied for in any of the affiliate universities that presently recognized it. Prospective OK are to visit the official website of the interested universities for registration instructions.

VENUE OF PROGRAM:

Our study centers are in Adalemo Sango-Ota Ogun State.

HOSTEL FACILITY:

HOSTEL FACILITY IS AVAILABLE. (We advise every student to live in the hostel to facilitate ease of learning and maximum result, which is the best grade). THE HOSTEL IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. IF YOU REGISTER BEFORE 15th OCTOBER 2019, YOU WILL ENJOY 20% DISCOUNT OF THE HOSTEL FEE.

COST OF THE PROGRAM / FEES:

3.Examination Registration: N50, 000.00

4.Hostel Accommodation: N50, 000.00

5.Study Material (some books and Lecture manuals): N25,000.00 (Optional)

6.Laboratory Practical for science students only: N10, 000.00

NOTE: FEES COULD BE PAID IN INSTALLMENT BASED ON MUTUAL AGREEMENT WITH THE COORDINATORS.

SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS:

O’Level results (unless awaiting result). Even if your O'Level result is deficient, and you want to do this program, you are qualified.  We will guide you on what to do.
